Tim Johnson

President & CEO / Director


Mr. Johnson has over 25 years experience in the mineral exploration industry ranging from grassroots prospecting to consulting company operation and public company management. As a founder and manager of Arcmin Enterprises he helped a northern British Columbia First Nation build a labour service company employing over 180 people providing entry level and skilled workers to exploration and development projects in BC’s golden triangle. Mr. Johnson is also a director of Mosaic Minerals.

Michael Rowley

Director


Michael Rowley has over 25 years executive experience in the exploration, mineral testing, and mine environmental industries, including capital markets and operations. Mr. Rowley is President & CEO of fellow Metallic Group company, Group Ten Metals, and is active in other publicly-traded companies.

John Cumming

Director


Mr. Cumming, a corporate, securities and mining lawyer and businessman, has been active in the Canadian securities markets and resource exploration sector for 40 years. He was the Senior Securities and Mining Law Partner at a mid-sized Vancouver law firm until 1992, and was a founding shareholder of St. Philips Resources Inc. which, in joint venture with the Hunter Dickinson Group, discovered the Kemess Gold Copper Mine. Both joint venture companies were sold in 1996 in a $200 million take-over bid, and the Kemess Mine subsequently became the principal asset of Northgate Minerals Corporation. From 2005 to 2017 Mr. Cumming was Vice-President and CFO of Merrex Gold Inc. during which tenure he was lead negotiator successfully concluding the Earn-in Option and joint venture deal with IAMGOLD Corporation on Merrex’s Siribaya gold project in Mali. The joint venture exploration team found the Diakha gold deposit at Siribaya and, in 2017, Mr. Cumming led the negotiations which culminated in the sale of Merrex to IAMGOLD.

Geordan Clark

Director


Geordan Clark is a Yukon-based entrepreneur with extensive project management and business development experience including an MBA from Cape Breton University. A citizen of the Kluane First Nation from Burwash Landing, Geordan worked as a business consultant with the Kluane First Nation, Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in, Na-Cho Nyäk Dun Development Corporation, Carcross Tagish First Nation, Chu Níikwän LP (Kwanlin Dun), Champagne Aishihik Community Development Corporation, as well as providing consulting services to many other Yukon First Nations small business owners. Mr. Clark was formerly the Executive Director of the Kluane Development Corporation and is currently General Manager and co-owner of Vision Quest Explorations, a Yukon First Nation drilling and exploration company. With a passion for Community Economic Development, Geordan is dedicated to supporting the progression of Yukon First Nation’s business and advancement of the Yukon’s economy.

Robert Sennott

Director


Rob is a long-time investor, entrepreneur, philanthropist and film producer. He has been a long-time resource investor and is an investor and supporter of each of the three Metallic Group companies. Rob was the founder of Market Intelligence, a real estate information services company, that was acquired by Alleghany Corporation, which in turn was recently acquired by Berkshire Hathaway. He has served on the board of directors of NASDAQ listed First Community Bank and was a Beige Book respondent for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.  Rob has also served on the board of a non-profit organization addressing poverty in rural communities, where he brought an entrepreneurial approach to fundraising. Rob’s success in business management and focus on building prosperous communities will be a great benefit to Granite Creek as it moves from exploration stage to developer.

Loy Chunpongtong

Director


Mr. Chunpongtong is a mining engineer with 25 years of experience in mine planning-scheduling, pit optimization, pit design, ore-grade control planning, and advanced geo-statistical modelling. He is a professional engineer and holds a bachelor’s degree in mine engineering and a master’s degree in economics, both from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. Loy is the Surface Mining Society Peer Review Chair for the CIM Journal and is an Executive Officer of the CIM Surface Mining Society.

Greg Johnson

Technical Advisory Board


Mr. Gregory Johnson has 30 years of experience in the mining industry with a record of success in exploration, development and financing of large-scale base and precious metals projects from discovery stage through advanced economic assessment. In addition to his expertise in the exploration for platinum group elements, gold, silver, nickel and copper, Mr. Johnson has developed broad experience in the capital markets and has been involved in raising over $650-million in project financing for his companies, as well as building their shareholder bases and securing the participation of major institutional investors.
He began his career with Placer Dome Inc. (now Barrick Gold Corp.) where he held various senior roles in domestic and international exploration.

One of the founders of NovaGold Resources, Mr. Johnson was a co-recipient of the PDAC’s Thayer Lindsay International Discovery Award for his role in the discovery and advancement of the 40-million-ounce Donlin Creek gold deposit in Alaska. As President and CEO of South American Silver and Wellgreen Platinum, Mr. Johnson led the significant expansion and advancement of several major precious and base metal deposits. He currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Metallic Minerals Corp. and Executive Chairman of Group Ten Metals.


Mr. Johnson has also been recognized for his work in sustainable development and community engagement and was awarded the Robert E. Leckie Award by the Yukon government for excellence in environmental stewardship. Mr. Johnson holds a BSc Honors in Geology from Western Washington University.
 

Peter Harris

Technical Advisory Board


Peter is a mining engineer with over 40 years of global mining industry experience in project evaluation, development, mine construction and operations. Peter’s career is highlighted by prominent roles with Placer Dome (now Barrick Gold) as Senior Vice President of Project Development and President & CEO of Placer Dome South Africa.  He also was part of the early formation of NovaGold Resources as Chief Operating Officer. Peter brings a deep understanding of what it takes to have a successful mining project having been involved in various stages of evaluation, development, construction and operation of over 20 mineral projects in his career in North and South America, Africa, Australia and Papua New Guinea. His experience ranges from high-grade underground operations to large scale open pit deposits of base & precious metals. He has a strong track record of leading corporate development teams in strategic acquisitions, financing as well as structuring of engineering initiatives to optimize costs and identify opportunities. A mine engineering graduate of the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne with executive and board of director experience in mining and related industries, Peter also led the design and introduction of World Bank recognized employee programs for affected mine-workers related to major mine re-structuring and AIDS programs. Peter’s experience in all aspects of major project and mine development including working with communities will add tremendous value as the company advances to the next stages of development at our critical mineral projects. 

Bill Harris

Technical Advisory Board


Bill Harris is a prospector, born and raised in the Yukon. He has been a self-employed prospector since 1980. He was vendor of the Stu property, and has held various executive positions with Northern Freegold Resources Ltd., including CEO, COO, President and Chairman since September 2006.

Rebecca Moriarty

Chief Financial Officer


Ms. Rebecca Moriarty is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 20 years of experience in the mining industry. Her background includes a unique combination of technical and business accounting expertise, having received a degree in geology from Queens University and a CPA designation. Ms. Moriarty is supported by the Malaspina Consultants team, a Vancouver-based financial consulting and advisory firm staffed with highly experienced accounting personnel. Prior to joining Malaspina, Ms. Moriarty worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where she was a manager working exclusively with resource companies. 

Susan Henderson

Finance Manager & Corporate Secretary


With over 20 years of experience in finance management within the mineral resource sector, Ms. Henderson has been a crucial asset to companies from exploration to mine development. Specializing in financial analysis, reporting, and management support, she has played a pivotal role in optimizing financial strategies.

In addition to her financial responsibilities, Susan has taken on the corporate secretarial function, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate governance standards, and continuous disclosure obligations.
